Bombarde and the bagpipe Hümmelchen (The former a precursor to the oboe and both wind instruments with double reeds.) enter into an improvisational dialogue with noises and musical sounds of objects, samplers and loopers.
Such processes, orchestrated and alienated in real time with special effects, result in nascent music, which was never intended to be completed, and always subject to new interpretations, developments and changes of direction.
The fluid and changing sound formations, whose structures are sometimes characterized by minimalist transparency, sometimes by high dynamic density, offer multiple points of contact for new improvisations as well as opportunities for soloist expression.
